OSHA 10 Hour Outreach Training – This course provides training for workers and employers in the recognition, avoidance, abatement, and prevention of safety and health hazards in the workplace. The program also provides information regarding workers’ rights and employer’s responsibilities. This course is geared toward the employee/craft level. 

OSHA 30 Hour Outreach Training- This course provides an in-depth discussion of the safety responsibilities of management and the employer, and provides training for workers and employers in the recognition, avoidance, abatement, and prevention of safety and health hazards in the workplace. The program also provides information regarding workers’ rights and employer’s responsibilities. This course is geared toward the supervisor/management level.

Qualified Rigger and Signal Person Basic Training – This training is designed for all workers who supervise, inspect, or participate in rigging or hoisting operations. The course covers operational and pre-operational procedures while rigging and meets OSHA requirements for qualifying riggers and signal persons.

Confined Space Entry – This course is designed to comply with OSHA rules regarding permit required confined space entry. We will discuss what a confined space is, what is a permit required confined space, hazard recognition, roles and responsibilities, hazardous atmospheres, and more.

Hazard Communication (HAZCOM) – This course is designed to help employers and employees protect themselves from chemical hazards and reduce illness and injury. Attendees will learn about label elements, SDS sheets, and the globally harmonized system of chemical classification. This course is compliant with the HAZCOM 2012 standards.

Scaffold User Training – This training prepares scaffold users to recognize the hazards associated with different types of scaffolds. We cover in detail the nature of electrical hazards, fall hazards, falling object hazards, proper access, the correct methods to use the scaffold, and how to handle materials while using scaffolds.

Fall Protection – This training is designed to teach students correct methods to eliminate, control and prevent fall hazards in the work environment. Specific care is taken to discuss the nature of falls in construction. Students will learn proper methods of fall arrest.

First Aid / CPR – This is an American Red Cross FA/CPR class.

Lockout / Tagout – This class will train workers on proper LOTO procedures. Topics covered include awareness, actions to take, when to lockout, and proper tagging process.

Trenching and Excavation Safety – This course is designed for all workers whose job duties require them to work in or around an open trench or excavation. This course will emphasize the identification and correction of hazards, soil types, protective systems, and general safety requirements.

Asbestos Awareness – This class includes a history of asbestos use, physical characteristics, and various types of asbestos containing material. Training will discuss PACM (presumed asbestos containing material), friable conditions, protection from exposure, and potential health effects.

Electrical Hazards – This is an awareness level class designed to provide information of the general hazards in a construction environment. This is accomplished thru an overview of electrical safety, how to identify common hazards and recognize clues that they exist, and corrective measures.
